A multiple-time Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal winner, he was also part of Bayern’s historic 2013 treble-winning squad and remains one of the club’s most prolific foreign goal scorers.

Texas Fest is proudly sponsored by Paulaner, bringing authentic Bavarian flavor to match the football on the screen. Der Klassiker is the name commonly used for matches between FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, Germany’s two most successful and widely supported clubs. The rivalry has produced some of the most memorable moments in modern football, including title-deciding league matches and the 2013 UEFA Champions League Final at Wembley.
More than just a match, Der Klassiker represents the highest level of German football — speed, intensity, and history — making it one of the most-watched fixtures in the sport.
Few matches carry the history, intensity, and emotion of Der Klassiker.
When Bayern and Dortmund meet, the football world pays attention — and on February 28, Texas will be watching together. Texas Fest is about sharing every goal, every chant, and every moment in a venue filled entirely with Bayern supporters. This is matchday the way it’s meant to be experienced.
"'Everything's bigger in Texas,' as the American saying goes. Including the love for FC Bayern. A visit to a huge watch party hosted by the FCBTX fan club in Fort Worth shows that FCB can rely on its American fan base at the Club World Cup."

"'Mia San Mia' suits us Texans perfectly. It could be our own slogan," says Justin Gardiner
"The atmosphere is fantastic; people live and love FC Bayern, you can feel it immediately," says Julia Willer, Managing Director of FC Bayern Munich LLC in New York
